Fantastic weekend!

KBBF 2012 was a success. A cold, wet success, but a great time none the less! Friday, we met for dinner at Seikisue (sp??) for Kennedy's birthday dinner! It makes me sad that all these girls are growing up and not wanting to have birthday parties!!

Saturday, we woke up to rain and freezing temps!! Brrr! Thank goodness I packed warm clothes!

Saturday night we went to the Fest, and I think we all had fun!! I'm so glad
Carrie and JJ went with us! We always have a great time with them!! Thanks jess for driving us!! ;). Despite the rain, I'm glad we went! I love people watching (and seeing high school friends!) we could even *hear Bonnie playing, even though we couldn't see her! Ms. Diva herself!

We got the house decorated for Halloween yesterday!! Love it!!

National Walk to School Day 2012

Today, I sat my alarm clock for 5:45, got up, showered, dressed, fixed coffee, woke up girls, breakfast, clothes picked out and helped them dress, teeth brushed, hair fixed, lunch packed, backpacks gathered, and out the door by 7:30!! Whew, I need a nap!

Today, the girls school participated in National Walk To School day! We all met at the park at 7:45, and walked a path to the school! I'm really surprised at how many people participated, but kinda disappointed that Jenna and Ashley were the only 2 who made posters and wore silly hats! Ah well, they stood out, and enjoyed it!

I ventured to the mall today to get my rings inspected. While cleaning my diamond necklace, the bottom diamond fell out, so we had to send it off for repair AGAIN! (2d time, same diamond) thankfully, the woman helping me found the diamond this time. The first time I lost it, who knows what happened to it! Brent noticed it one day at work... That it was missing! Luckily, he bought the extended warranty offered at Kay's, and we have continued to buy it with every purchase! So, for instance my Wedding Band has shrunk (ha) I had it sent off today to be reSized, free of charge! So, I'm rocking my engagement ring this week, until I get my ring back! I highly suggest getting an extended warranty when it comes to jewelry!!

After taking care of that business, I walked around the mall. I hate the mall. I never go, and NEVER shop there. I'm way too cheap! But, I have been wanting a pair of Miss Me jeans, and decided to go try some on, incase anyone wants to buy me some for Christmas. I went to JC Penny's first, and found a "knock off" brand that I fell in love with, and the best part is they are 27.00!! Shaaaa Baaam! (I'll be going back this week to get some, but wanted to see If I could find a
Coupon first.... SEE CHEAP). After,
I went to Dillards to compare, and let me say will NEVER buy anything from Dillards at the Wolfchase mall. ever. Ever. EVER!!! I felt so uncomfortable looking, And DARE to ask to try on. Snooty sales people. So, I think I've
Decided to forget the Miss Me Jeans. I'll stick with the fake one's. And for the price of those jeans at Dirty Dillard's, could easily afford to get 3 pairs of the one's from Penny's!!! What's up with customer service sucking so bad these days?!!?? Hmm... I see a writing a letter in my future!

Happy Fall Y'all!

This weather has certainly gotten me in the Fall mood!! Bond fires, Blue's fest, Pumpkins, Football, leaves changing color.... I love it all!!

At the Stafford house, we like to decorate for different holiday's, and Halloween is one of our favorites!! I remember as a kid putting colored card board cut out's on the wall's, and I was so excited to find some at the dollar store this year!! I hope Jenna and Ashley has as much fun decorating with them that Trey and I did!! We even put a "graveyard" in our front yard, and we are getting dry ice to make it foggy this year!!

I don't know how my sister in law, Sarah does it, but she wins things on Facebook through giveaways ALOT! So, ive decided to enter some... And I don't want to brag or anything, but have won Dog Treats, a box of Triscuits, and some lotion!! LOL. I know it's nothing big, but I adore the opening the mailbox and a package being in there!! Maybe someday I'll win something super fun!!

Tonight at the girls school is Dress Like Your Favorite Story Book Character for the book fair, and tomorrow is Walk to School Day! I'll be sure to get lots of pictures!!

I'm still doing EBay since I STILL have not found a job. I think I've applied everywhere humanly possible! So, please let me know if you need invitations, calendars, labels, notecards, anything designed! Please and thank you!!

Thinking can be dangerous.

I needed to hear this today.  I need to take a second, and slow down, and listen to what my girls are trying to tell me.  I want them to be able to come to me with anything, Big or Small,  forever.    Even if I have to bite my tongue, or want to spit nails... I want them to trust me enough to tell me ANYTHING and everything.  I know the teenage  years are gonna be hard, but I still hope that even when they are in their "my mother knows nothing" stage, maybe they will come to me to still talk.  I've made it a habit since the girls were little to sit on their bed at night, and talk.  Before bed, when I am snuggling them to sleep, we talk.  I am so thankful for those moments with each of them!!

This weekend was kinda hard.  I saw a facebook post that hurt my feelings.  I don't want to go into too much detail, but I realize that you can't blame yourself for things you have zero control over.  I realize that I'm an awesome daughter, and it's her fault she is missing out.  I realized that the whole situation has caused me to want to be an even BETTER mother than I am, and I'm already a damn good mother.  I realized that I can't stay bitter about it forever, and that some day I will be able to "speak my peace" but not until she is ready to hear it.  I realized that everyone made decisions that they thought were the best for Trey and I.  I realized that my life is good, and I have a whole family full of people that love me.  I realized that everything happens for a reason, and that God knows what he is doing, even when we have no clue.  I am thankful for a father who stepped up to the plate, and did a really good job of raising us! 

This weekend is KBBF in Helena, and I'm super excited to be going to see Bonnie Rait on Saturday night!  Whaaa Hoooo!!    Hopefully, I will see some old former classmates while I'm in town too!

Blisters

We finally took down the pool this year. It's amazing to me that it lasted through the summer, I just knew with the way it was leaning, the girls would jump around and create a tidal wave in the backyard. It lasted, but we (ok Brent) took it down so next year we can level it... Because when we put it up 2 years ago, we didn't.

So, in the big. Muddy. Circle the pool once stood, is now a turnip green patch. (atleast I think it's turnip, could be mustard.) I helped Brent plant seeds last night, and now have blisters all over my hand. Next time, when he asks if I want gloves, I won't be hardheaded! I can't wait to see them grow! I love, love, love beans & corn bread with greens!!!! Soul food!

Tomorrow they come to set up UVerse! Dom, dom, dommmm!!! Finally!! Brent actually just text me with list of things to do to get ready.

Ive been cleaning house today. I swear, I don't understand how I Managed to get everything done while working full time. I am so thankful for the opportunity to work part time!! I feel like I honestly work harder with cleaning, laundry, and actually cooking dinner everynight, than when I was work working!! I wish I could come up a way to help full time working moms, so they could enjoy their family more. I know how hard it is, just trying to get everything done!

The girls book fair is at school this week and next week! They are also having a "walk to school day" next Wednesday! Everyone is meeting at a park and parading to school!!! Fun!

The end is in sight!!

Thanks to my brother in law, we should have internet very soon ! Uverse here we come!! ;)

It's been rough around here without Internet! The girls have even been complaining because they can't use their itouch or kindle fire. It's amazing how much we actually use it at home!! Just this morning I needed to look up a recipe I have pinned (chicken cordon blue casserole.)

I had a sick Ashley yesterday. Sinus infection and a red throat. Thankfully, she is back to school today fever free!

I got homework sent home last night, which Brent found hilarious!! Jenna's teacher sent home laminated dolls to cut out. Super cute! So, I sat and watched tv and cut away!

There feels like a hint of fall today in the air! Love it. Love fall. Love everything about fall. Circle K finally got their pumpkin spice latta back! Omg amazing!!! And only 1.35 compared to starbucks 7.00 (I made that up, because I don't drink Starbucks) definitely try it if your near a Circle K!

Sassy girls

The girls little friend had a birthday party at Sweet and Sassy this weekend, and they had so much fun! The got their nails painted, makeup done, hair fixed and enough glitter and cotton candy spray to last a lifetime! Here are some pictures and video. :) I want to have a dress up party!!
