Stomach Virus Sandy

Brent has been the lucky one, all 3 of us girl's are SICK, sick, SICK.

Jenna got sick on the way home from school (thank you trash bag that just happened to be in the back seat!)

Ashley started getting sick last night (around 2 am)

Mommy started getting sick this morning.  (around 6am)

Ew.  Ew.  Ew.

Please think happy thoughts for us all!

I can't think of anything worse than throwing up, or  hearing someone throw up.

Weekend update!!

I feel like I need a weekend break, from the weekend!! Whew, I'm one tired momma!!

Friday, I took the girls to Brinkley, and then had a Sushi Date night in with Brent! We watched random Scary movies and I think he was asleep by 11! Ha! I'm usually the one passed out WAY before him, but I managed to stay up until 1:00 watching Misery.

Saturday morning, we were supposed to go to camp, but he surprised me on Friday night, and said that we weren't going!! So, I stayed in my pajamas ALL day! We watched the game, and then got ready for a Halloween party at Lilly & JR's! We had a really good time, and got to meet some really cool people! She fixed SO much food, and JR makes the best hamburgers!! YUM!

Sunday, we went Christmas shopping, out to lunch (i took a pic of the nee coke machine) and grocery shopping. We spent *way* too much money, but got a full shopping cart of toys! Brent and I are dangerous in a toy store!! We just have a few more family presents to get, and we are DONE!! That's so impressive for us. We usually wait until the last second!

Last night, I went and got the girls and then rushed home for another Halloween party with our neighbors!! Who are super awesome, and we just met last week! (they just moved in) again, they fixed SO much food! The girls go go paint pumpkins and the adults sat by the fire, it was a good night!

This is going to be a super busy week!! Tonight is Chick-fila school spirit night. Tuesday, nothing (yay!!) I have an interview.
Wednesday, trick or treat
Thursday, packing
Friday, Saturday, Sunday = deer camp

Whew.

I had an interview this morning, and another tomorrow! :)

Here are some pics from the weekend! Including our Halloween decorations inside!

Icky day

It's a rainy, cold, windy morning in Memphis! I'm thankful for the cool temps, but could do without the wind and rain, especially since I have to drive to Brinkley this afternoon (hopefully it will be clear by then!)

This morning, I'm getting my oil changed, then it's home to do laundry and clean house. I think I've become addicted to house cleaning... But that will soon change once I go back to work! Hopefully, I can find someone to come and clean once a week!

So, I have 2 interviews on Monday. 1 is an accounting firm and 1 with ABRA. *fingerscrossed*

Can't wait to watch the Hogs play tomorrow. Actually, we will listen to the game, since we will be at deer camp for the day!!

Here are some random pictures from the week! :)

Eye Candy Thursday

Thursday is one of my favorite night's of the week, because I get to see some of my favorite eye candy on TV!

Dr. McDreamy

Damon, your such a bad boy!  Yum! I secretly wish you will play Christian Gray!

Thursday nights are MY TV nights.  I usually pour a glass of wine, and lock myself in the bedroom for a night of TV in my pajama's! Although, it usually takes me HOURS to watch them both, because of all the "MOMMMM's" I have to deal with!! Ha!

This weekend, the girls are going to Cabot, so I have a HOT sushi date on Friday Night!

From a couple of Halloween's ago!

Happy Thursday everyone!  Who's your favorite eye candy TV show man?

Today

My ex-inlaw's came into town to surprise the girls for lunch, and took me out to lunch too! It was a nice visit! I didnt tell the girls they were coming, and the girls were very shocked (in a good way!) It was nice seeing them again, and lunch went wonderfully!

After asking the girls what they wanted for Christmas... Grandma B decided they needed a Halloween present, so guess what they got?? Yep, Furby's! It was like Christmas morning around here!! We are waiting on Brent to get home with a screwdriver and batteries (bad mommy!) :). They girls are over the moon!

Guess Santa doesn't have to being them after all!!

In Limbo

After much thought, and wondering, and pondering.  I have decided to go back to work, full time.  I haven't been pressured in any way (I actually think that Brent is a little sad, that I want to go back to work full-time) or talked into it, by anyone but myself, I honestly think that this is the best thing to do for our family.

I hate that I won't  be home in the afternoon with the girls, but I will be working closer to home, so I won't be sitting in traffic for an hour.  We *should* still be home by 5:45 at the latest (compared to 6:30, when I worked on the other side of Memphis) and I'm hopefully going to be able to take them to school still (if not, they will be in before/after school care at the school.)  There are a few things I still have to work out.

Financially, we just can't do it with me not working.  I have tried for  MONTHS looking for something part time, and every job I have found wants me to work weekends, and that's really the only time I have with our family, so that's not an option for me.  Going back to work full time, I won't have to work weekends, at all, plus no Holiday's (which is another down side of retail.)

So, hopefully next week (sometime) I will be back to work.  *Keepingmyfingerscrossed*

By some miracle, if I can find a no weekends part time job, before going back, I will take it.  Times are tough in the job market right now, for sure!!

Pumpkins

On Sunday, we had a little carving party, with a few friends and kids. I love carving pumpkins, and we usually go all out with food & drinks, but this year I was exhausted from camping!

Finally this year, the girls scooped their own pumpkin guts. Usually, I get stuck with that job! Not this year!! Whaaaoop! They both chose creepy pumpkin faces, and both "poked" the holes to carve, and then got bored and went off to play. So, Brent ended up carving 4 pumpkins on Sunday! Whew!

Thanks to pinterest, I chose a polka dot pumpkin, and Brent did a skeleton! Usually, we get a hay bale to place them on in the front yard, but this year we decided not to, the graveyard practically takes up our entire front yard!!!

It was lots of fun, and I think everyone had a good time!

Leaves, Eggs, and Bull Riding

Our weekend was amazing!  The weather was wonderful, the girls got to ride horses, and we got to have a steaks cooked over the fire!  Yum!  Everything tastes so much  better when it's cooked outside!  Good job babe! :)

I can't even describe how breathtaking the leaves were at the campsite.  Brent and I both tried to take pictures, but I don't think we did them justice!  Gorgeous!  (prepare for a picture overload!)

Here are some of the highlights from our trip ::

I LOVE this picture!  Brent took this one! :)

The horse camp was doing a benefit for St. Jude on Saturday, so the girls got to ride horses, go bull riding, and went on a wagon ride.. and the proceeds went to St. Jude!  The girls had tons of fun!! They also did a BBQ dinner, auction, and Coffee & Fried Pies, but we didn't do those.

The girl's also made friends while we were there, so they had 3 other little girls to play with on Saturday afternoon/night.  Ava, Lilly and Bella.  They were too cute!

It was a gorgeous weekend, the weather couldn't have been better,  and I'm so glad we got to go!  Thank you Ann!! :)

The F Word

Friday.  It's finally here.  Thank Goodness!! (and you thought I was talking about something else! Shame!!  hahahaha)

We are off on a camping adventure this weekend, and I can't wait for ::

Gorgeous Fall Colored Leaves, a fire, roasting marshmallows, early morning coffee outside, playing at the park (we are camping right across the street from one, at Village Creek State Park), ghost stories by the fire, and Snipe Hunting!   (which Jenna and Ashley fall for every time!!)   We love Village Creek and visit several times a year.  I love that they have children's activities all weekend, so the girls don't get so bored just sitting at the campsite!

Here is a run down of pictures from the week, and things I haven't had time to Blog about!  :)

Tuesday night, the PTA put on "game night" at a local park and then we came home and played UNO.

Wednesday night it stormed, so the girls made a "pallet" on the floor and snuggled with Brent.  We *hate* storms in the S house.  I'm terrified of them, so I always let the girls stay in the living room while it is storming.

Thursday, I finally walked 2.5 miles and saw a cute little green worm while I was taking a break.

Told you Jenna was OBSESSED with Furby's... we found these 2 notes this week.  1 on the Fridge, and 1 on our computer.  That kid really makes me smile!:)

Have a great weekend!!
